well, hello there.

My name is Sally Jean Wegert.

I'm a graduate of Western Kentucky University's photojournalism program, graduating with a B.A. in Photojournalism and Spanish Language. 

In 2016, I edited for The CW Television Network in Burbank, California — my gateway to the world of film and television production.

Fast-forward 7 years and countless hours on set, I specialize in Art Department roles and have experience as a production designer, art director, set decorator, property master and stylist.

I operate a photography & creative studio in Louisville, Kentucky, where I create intricate, surreal sets for storytelling portrait photography. It’s also the space where I hot glue googley eyes on everything I own.

I'm fascinated by human beings and our perception of beauty, and I hope my work in the storytelling realm might serve to open minds and bring a sparkle to your eye.
